Taylor Fillion is a menagerie of bluegrass guitar picking, folk storytelling, traditional country crooning, and good old fashioned soul. Based out of Lake Charles, Louisiana, residing in Ragley, his music weaves thought provoking lyrics with flavors of the Appalachian mountains and honkey tonk bars alike, and presents a sound unique in experience. Drawing inspiration from the likes of John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Sturgill Simpson, and Tyler Childers, he brings a collection of homegrown songs constructed by experience and imagination. Sure to make you laugh, cry, ponder, or tap your toes.

Artist Statement

I'm a huge advocate for local artists sharing their talents. I love seeing and hearing original works from people I share the community with! I have over two hours of original music and hundreds of cover songs to share, most of which are musicians/songs you may have never heard before. See y'all at the next show!
